Summary •

Alamo Barber & Beauty Supply has been in business for a very long time and had been attempting to offer ecommerce on their site. Unfortunately they did not have the knowledge to update the site themselves and online sales were completed by email. So they requested a site that would be user friendly for them long term, the most basic but still professional platform available to stand out against competitors and ideally, be a responsive site.

Solution •

After taking all the details of their requests into account, and basically starting with zero brand identity, I began setting up their site on Shopify. Shopify offers great, easy to style templates and is made specifically for eCommerce. A custom design was not in the client's budget so a template to their liking was purchased, styled and implemented.

In addition to creating a modern, but timeless look for their site, I was also tasked with writing the copy for each item, and sourcing or taking product photos. 

Results •

The final result is a clean, easy to update site that has increased their sales and visibility. They went from approximately 1 small ($30 or less) online sale every 3 or 4 months to minimum 4 or 5 ($15-$200) sales each month.
